2. Who Can Use Template2PDF?

To use Template2PDF, you must:

Agree to these terms and any applicable laws.

We are based in Germany, and by using our service, you agree that German law governs these terms.

3. User Accounts

Signing Up

To use our service, you need to create an account using your Google credentials. This helps us keep things secure and simple for you.

API Credentials

Once signed in, you can generate API credentials, such as authorization tokens, to use our service programmatically.

Keep these credentials safe! You are responsible for ensuring they are not shared or misused.

Account Termination

You can terminate your account at any time, and we may terminate it if necessary (e.g., for misuse or inactivity). When your account is deleted, your data will be scrubbed as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. How You Can Use Template2PDF

Allowed Uses

You can use our service to process templates and input data to create PDFs.
You must ensure that your use complies with all applicable laws.

Prohibited Uses

Illegal activities: You may not use our service for any illegal purposes. That might come as a surprise, but yes, that is the case.
Abuse of the system: Actions like spamming, attempting to overload the system, or bypassing rate limits are strictly forbidden.

Rate Limits

To ensure fair usage, we may impose limits on how many requests you can make per second, minute, hour, or day. These limits may vary depending on your subscription.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Payment Methods

We offer subscriptions via PayPal, which also supports credit card payments.

Subscription Terms

Subscriptions are billed for their specific billing cycle and can be canceled at any time.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for non used page credits.

6. Data Handling

Data Ownership

The data you provide (templates, input data, etc.) is entirely yours. We do not claim any rights to your data.

Data Retention

Data related to your convert jobs is kept for a maximum of 3 months and is automatically deleted after that.
You can delete your data earlier at any time through your account.
Accounting-related data: This is kept as required by law.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide Template2PDF:

Google Services: Used for sign-in, accessing template documents, email communication and analytics.
PayPal: Used for payments and subscriptions.
AWS: Our hosting provider, where Template2PDF runs.

7. No Guarantees and Limited Liability

No Guarantees

We cannot guarantee that our service will always be available or error-free. While we aim for high reliability, occasional downtimes or bugs may occur.

Limited Liability

We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from downtime, errors, or your use of the service.

8. Support

Email support is available for all users.

Users can opt to receive priority email support with faster response times.

9. Changes to These Terms

If we update these terms, we will:

Notify existing customers via email.
Publish the updated terms on our website.

Your continued use of Template2PDF after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Termination of the Service

If we decide to discontinue Template2PDF, we will notify you via email. Any active subscriptions will be handled fairly, and you will have time to retrieve your data before the shutdown.
